Hi, I've been looking at old TVs for sale now for a while, I've noticed that people have a very broad range of prices on them , was just wondering what is fair price to pay for TV? I seen a couple I like one looked to be pretty good nick but not been used for a long time, owners want $500 sounds a bit pricey? Was going to ask them to sell cheaper but not shore what is fair price?

Deniniquin! Out in the sticks, been there lots of times, you wont find too many Astors there ,,cross the border in VIC there is a lot more TVs and a lot cheaper too, if you live in NSW the price is always high. I've never paid more than 100 bucks for a TV with most costing under 50 bucks, but like anything it depends whos around and how much they want it,,,shipping will be your killer,,,
If I see one I will email you,,if your email is open that is.
All the best ,,pete

Thanks Pete,

I tried putting link to the TV I seen but not sure it worked , the TV I missed out on was only small the cabinet was only like 45 cms square, on legs and had 17 inch screen , I'm after same type I'm guessing 1950s model , not sure what brands are like that but that's style I want , I have daughter lives in Melbourne so if one comes up there she will be able to get it for me.

No dramas mate, dont worry about the messed up link, I know the model you want .I will put a picture up in there for you, if you need a photo put in your threads next time ,you can just send it to Brad who runs this site and he will put it in the thread for you or you can upload it to photobucket and use the HTML link they offer , just copy and paste it under the thread,,but tomorrow I will put one there for you, I cant tonight I'm off to bed . Its been one of those days
All the best , pete
