You maybe better researching that yourself through places like ebay completed listings etc,
I say this because I'm a collector of rare old things but their value has nothing to do with why I collect them and although I can only speak for myself you may find that lots of collectors are like this too.

Best of luck,,,pete

If you wish to list them all models makes and general condition then send me a list and I can value them for you for insurance purposes.

Steve, Victoria.

Nice looking collection there.

Some of the more familiar sets are recognisable, but a list of makes and models may be more helpful.

In any case, the actual value of anything is set by the buyer on the day that you must sell it. Otherwise, you can only hope for estimates. Even recent sales are not necessarily a reliable guide for future sale prices. It can be a fickle market. It depends on who is there at sale time.

Hi Itemz,

Would it be OK if I asked about one of your sets. If so, can you send me a PM, or make your email visible and I'll contact you?

Robert.

As an ex PMG/Telecom/Telstra techy I can tell you that the Ericsson wall phone shown there given that it almost looks to be original condition would be worth between $1200 & $1500. Many collectors will KILL for one of those.

I have 2 VERY tattered similar models that are missing bits from each & slowly I am rebuilding one out of the 2 units. I was recently offered $400 for the pair as is IE VERY scrappy looking things covered in grime & bits of wood missing all over the shop.

I once had a 1936 Stromberg Carrlson candle stick style phone that was stolen at a break in NOT insured & I see one recently on Ebay go or $600.

A family member had one of those Ericsson wall phones and in 1980 it was valued at $1200 so you have some really nice stuff there. If any strangers contact you please do not give them your address.
