Can anybody identify what this this old transformer is for?

It is a Ferranti interstage unit about 1930 vintage. It looks like the AF3 style.

On one side it has 3 terminals labelled Plate, HT and Plate.

On the other side it had 2 terminals. The labels are indecipherable.

The DC resistance between the 2 terminals is about 800 ohms.

The DC resistance between the outer of the 3 terminals plate to plate is also the same, about 800 ohms.

The centre terminal looks like a centre tap.

I thought this may have been an old push pull output transformer but the resistance readings seem odd.
