 kriesler multi sonic stereo

Hello Everyone
we have a Kriesler stereo that my wife adopted from an old family friend. on the top right hand side were the radio is is 2 inputs jacks marked microphone and playback and 2 outputs jacks marked ext speaker and tape record. is it possible to connect an ipod or mp3 player in on of these jacks as I dont really listen to am and there is no fm on it ,please help and best wishes

As long as your iPod or MP3 player has a standard headphone jack (1.5mm, 3.55 or 6.5mm size) then you should be able to play the music through the radiogram via the Tape input. The Microphone input may work too though it may send the source signal through a pre-amplifier and thus be too loud or distorted.

I haven't done this myself so this advice comes with a caution - experiment by connecting an old tape player that you don't want or need first, just to make sure there are no defects or booby traps on the radiogram.
