Just a general request to all members:-

Please begin a new thread each time you start a new topic rather than continuing an unrelated discussion in a thread that has already been opened. There's been a few such postings in recent weeks and it is becoming a little confusing. For the benefit of newer members, the link to start a new thread is above, just under the site's main links and is labelled, "Post a new entry in this forum". This is the same function that is sometimes labelled "Start new thread" or "Start new topic" on other forums.

I'd also like to ask members to be mindful of where they are posting - some new threads are being placed in obviously irrelevant forums and even though I am the administrator I never got around to giving myself the necessary button to move threads to a more relevant forum and due to work commitments I don't really have the necessary time to add such a function. When posting comments (and it should be done this way on almost every forum system that exists, members should consider each forum from the last one working their way to the top. Most forum systems have an off-topic or general discussion forum and this is usually first however there may (and usually is) a forum dedicated to the topic to be discussed.

Questions of any sort should not be posted in the Member Introductions forum either. This is in place for new members (or indeed existing members) to introduce themselves and provide information as to why the subject of vintage radio is of interest to them. If the member has their own website and it is relevant to vintage radio or they'd like to share photos of their collection or workshop, they should post a separate new comment in the Websites and Collections forum.
