This, and access to the password retrieval service, has been repaired.

Note, signing up for a second account is not possible, as the site is programmed to block it.

Have just experienced the dreaded 500 error for the last hour or so.

Forum seemed to be down all day.

Also, seems quite slow to take updates.

Yes, various website down checks said the site was unreachable.

I am not sure what happened though it was going on for about a day, on and off. The site logs show that a lot of 'people' were here. Often we can get a couple of hundred concurrent users but this was a bit more than that so it may be some random sort of attack on the site. If so, I am not sure why anyone would bother - this site is not a political one.

Anyway, I will be keeping an eye on things for the next few days whilst I try and finish off the work on Wanted and For Sale. Not long left to go there. Wink

Interesting comment on the "behind the scenes" goings on. I have Land line; and brother, on the same RAX has had a fault in it for 10years, or more, and they seem to be incapable of fixing it';

They rant on about 5G and here my mobile needs to be on 3G & an antenna, or it has more dropouts than a High School; Telstra of course refuses to fix it (and have told me they have no intention of) even that it has been like that since the show went digital. Optus has put up a mobile tower about a mile & a half away, but as yet that has not moved Telstra. Obvious that nothing has changed since "The Three Amigo's and their "Automoronic" phone answering, & Web page is ample evidence that they do not want customers.

Interestingly one of the members of an association; At a meeting last night informed us that she was having that same issue of the signal just stopping and all of the lights going red? She is with Westnet which of course has been bought out by one of the others.

I did have satellite based Westnet internet: What joke. They should have sacked the delivery service as the packet losses were enormous. Apparently another "Hubble", as it was all wrong before it (literally) got off the ground.

Another forum that I use (nothing to do with radio, and also non-political) has had to implement Cloudflare recently thanks to what appears to be DDoS from connections originating in China. At one point there were more 6,000 "guests" connected.
