I got a 500 error as I logged on.
First glitch with the new provider!
But logged on immediately on the next try.
Fred.

In https://vintage-radio.com.au/home.asp?f=1&th=1397 post 7, Rudolf stated that the link to send pictures does not work.

Brad?

No 500 errors at this end (and I probably just called up the devil by writing that).

The link for my profile page that is on the photo publishing instructions is dead. I will fix it tonight. It causes a 404 error rather than a 500 error. 404 means dead or broken link. I can't explain the couple of 500s above. Vagaries of the Internet perhaps.

Thanks Brad Smile

No error 500 here yet .. fingers crossed.

Hmm, seems the time is out by 3 hours. There's no way to adjust it either.

Oh you mentioned that already. Server must be in Perth.
Other forums have a choice where you can set the time offset in your user control panel.

I got one here about half an hour ago. The site worked fine (different and more modern system) but the forums returned the error. Very odd.

The server is in WA and early in the new year, when there's some time to spare I will correct the time. At the same time, if I can manage it, I will bring in an option for members to set the time to their own time zone. We've all become accustomed to the forums being stuck on NSW time which is why it's gone un-noticed but I think it would be a useful feature, again, if I can manage to get it going.

I was playing with the site's global file a few days ago in an attempt to redirect the old default page to the new one when arriving here from links on search engines. I not only failed at that, despite the code being correct, but I may have left a bug that is causing the 500 errors to become frequent again. I'll review that file tonight and make sure it's not of my doing.

Brad the site home page comes up immediately, BUT, pressing the forum link gives me a 500.
Other links work correctly. I got to forums by persisting and after some latency the link worked and here I is.
Fred.

No issues logging on and looking at the site for me in WA. Using Firefox old version.

Maybe if the site is being hosted in Perth we in WA do not see any issues.

Lindsay

I've been let know about the sign up page going to a 404 error. I will repair this over the weekend. I've been wondering why we haven't had any new members for a couple of weeks. I guess it's one part of the site I rarely go to so it's been missed by accident.

Yes well I had a fellow on Facebook asking me why he couldn't get on to it. He asked for you email address to inform you of this.
