I think I have that chassis, and that it's chassis 505. I don't know what the cabinet looks like.
The chassis I have here was turned into a big power supply, but the original power transformer is still there and other cutouts appear to be in the right place.
But the back of the chassis in that picture is missing the metal Airzone nameplate.

I have just looked at all Airzone listings with chassis numbers identified and unfortunately it is not a chassis number 505. The 505 chassis has the rectifier and output valves on the left, looking from the back.
Unfortunately, the mystery chassis didn't look much like any other, searching Radiomuseum, Airzone, 1930 to 1940, but not every radio has a picture of the chassis, so my search was not conclusive.

There is a Airzone 5050 & 5051 from 1938 that has the same valve line-up as the radio that is the subject of this thread. The only difference between the 5050 & 5051 is that one of them has a magic-eye.

Art, can you post some snaps of your chassis?

Cheers.

The dial has short wave, however, the circuit seems not.

Yes I had it back to front as well the transformer is on the other side.
It's a bit of a mess, I only know it's Airzone 505 because the chassis still had it's little metal label, which is on the paper in the photo (but it got painted as well).

It was being used for it's original power supply, and an extra power supply built into it as well for a receiver/transmitter pair, and then also three valves.
Sorry for the delay on the radio Mono, been a bit hectic here!
