I was in town today and was noticeably quite,
The absence of people and many shops are closed and some only open for a couple of hours, I was out buying DVDs .The city was dead. I mentioned this to a few people that had shops open ,They said ,That every day is getting worse since the border shut with less people each day.
So many businesses will go broke in Oz at this rate . particularly in sales and shops .
I did see some bargains too, men's leather shoes reduce from 195 to 49 ,but even I kept walking as nice as the were . Thinking best hang on to my cash .

I really hate it when people call them licence plates - they have nothing to do with licencing. More ignorance from our globalised media.

NSW ditched number plate slogans shortly after the Sydney Olympics. They do look better without them, I reckon.

Yes remember the egregious "NSW - The Premier State" , penned by the PS no doubt as a sop to Nifty Nev.

I'm sure they would have preferred "NSW - The Premier's State" the way he ran his little fiefdom.

Apparently "QLD - The Moonlight State" wasn't preferred by Joh.

I remember years ago when I was over seas and I with a group of people from all over the world.
Another Australian turned up and joined the group as we were all chatting .
He asked me where abouts in Australia I'm from? I said Sydney, but I've lived in many parts of NSW and he replied ,well there is only 2 states worth being in Australia!
He then stated,, The state of NSW or the pissed state! Ohhhh I hate yobbos ! I couldn't wait to get away from him.
There were no other brain dead yobbos in the group so it went down like a lead balloon.!

After all the years I still remember the day!

Yeah ,That show is on the nose now.
The host died and was only 49 and the other fella is going to court for inappropriate Behaviour with his sister.
So that will spell the end of the show I think.
Shame ,I use to watch it sometimes.
Years ago I use to like towards 2000 and then it became beyond 2000 I think ,but it wasn't as good.

Pete
