I can understand cars with NSW plates trying to get out of the state but with Vic plates?
How many of those are city Vics with the pox trying to game the system?
Great!
Should have had a bubble around Melbourne and stopped them on the outskirts, not stop border residents that travel over the creek every day to work.
Melbourne is about the size of the inner Sydney area so would be easy to bubble up.
Stupid premier! Now they have to import NSW coppers to man the borders, great!
Gladys must be fuming, what they need is some one competent down there, where is Joan Kerner when you need her?
All we need is one Melbourne inner city" family" from the last idiot protests to sneak into Sydney and join their rainbow fairy Uni mates and we are all done for.
Great!
Fred.

Many of those with V-reg cars were towing caravans - patently easy to see that they aren't coming here for an essential purpose. I guess they'd better hope that they aren't from one of the declared hotspots or the gaols at Junee and Cooma are going to get full pretty quick.
People are complaining about border passes not yet being available. I guess it is a case that the government has to change the regulations under the relevant Act of Parliament before the red tape can be printed, otherwise the said red tape is not a legal instrument.

We seem to be getting a spate of single posts on the same topic. On the American forum that is banned principally as with radios that can cause things to get lost & cause confusion.
Now! You will note that I have made several comments on a Rabbit proof fence around Melbourne: I have also aired that comment and another. Too sensible, too little & too late. There are now cases in Albury (NSW) and Wodonga (Vic)
Pointing out this as a Farmer & We know Bio-security.
Well Well, Chairman Dan has bit the bullet and done as I and others have said should have happened weeks ago. He's sealed off Melbourne. Had he have done that weeks ago, we would not have had no excuse for this border fiasco to go with the other fiasco's.

You got out of Albury but where to..? Is this the American Armageddon? Read: "arm a geddon outa here" only to find nowhere to run: nowhere to hide.
Neighbour is in Melbourne for treatment for a Brain tumour. I have pointed out to her, that love & separation anxiety are one thing. But Hubby going to Melbourne is going into the fire. We do not need him going there & bringing it here & infecting the factory he works at.
I know its cruel, but make a video call & be happy just to see one another.
Bad enough that it got to Albury / Wodonga, without people tempting fate.
I am now wondering if there is truth in C-19 being related to Rabbit Calicivirus? That would explain people running around like a plague of Rabbits. Apparently there is another strain (as I mentioned) of Swine fever on the loose & its also a Zoonotic pathogen like C-19, that can jump from animals to humans, and these like Ebola are increasing in number.

75% of all diseases we catch come from Animals.
This has accelerated over the past 70 years.
Factors believe to be ,cross contamination in processing meats , Pollution in water ways and eco systems, over population encroaching on the Animal environment leading to them living too close to us .
" So they say"
Some of it I believe , pollution in water ways? ,yep I believe that, cross contamination of meat and animal products in processing ?,yep I can believe that one too, but from my understanding of man's history we have always lived close to animals so I don't believe that one .
I guess the world maybe better if we were all vegetarians and I wish I was ,but I'm a bag of bones as it is and if I just ate veggies I don't think there would be anything left of me! Plus veggies make me fart and that may lead to more relationship problems which I don't need.
So I'm just not there yet to become a vegetarian although I like the idea of being one.
Pete
Lance , yeah Lance, all good here in Albury

There we go..news just stated a positive case of C19 in Merimbula from a holidaying Vic person.
Great. Seems the person was tested for C19 previously, so must have been sick.
Then decides to go on hols anyway!
That's how it spreads you stupid lot of morons.
How many self important people, usually a tennis/football player or "media personality" with money, have helicopted/private planed and dropped into the snow fields or holiday parks up and down the coast? We are full of "getmyways" like that infesting the city centres picking up the pox in clubs and casinos and then swanning off to the holiday farm away from the peasants.
I see El Presidento in Brazil now has "a slight cough", like that dill Trump hoping that C19 will "just disappear" by itself.
Yep, El Presidentos, it will, after Millions of your loyal subjects are buried.

There is research that farts contain chemicals that enhance life. Tell her that your farts are prolonging her life, that will be interesting.
And you wonder why I wanted a WA style "Rabbit Proof Fence". If we had caged these clowns, with the brains of a rabbit, in Melbourne we would likely have contained it & not needed yet another "Fiasco of the headless chook" like closing the border & causing the chaos that is now in Albury / Wodonga.
So we are now back to colonial days before federation. We have Australians, Victorians & the Peoples Republic of Melbourne. Too much Flouride in the water (the Romans used Lead, to send themselves mad).

The difference here is that the Romans lined their aquaducts with lead sheet just to waterproof the stonework and didn't realise that an OD on lead would cause brain issues. Those who are spreading the virus know exactly what they are doing and the risks they are taking and are simply being too selfish and too pig-headed to understand that the world isn't about just them.
If they are holidaying in Merimbula they'd most likely have come over the border just south of Eden, probably thinking that they'd be able to evade Albury, which is the centre of attention at the moment.
NSW Police Force - over to you.

There is a bit of a verbal war going on the net in Albury. Those who think that the border should not be closed and those who think it should. So far border closing is winning in terms of posts. The ones that are complaining work over the river etc etc.
The general feeling around here is we are all going to get the virus in time.
The government must know more too , because on the news they are asking people that live in Albury not to travel around NSW ,They have not made it law or a lock down here though.
Either way it was those twits in Melbourne and government boo boos that caused this new virus exploding problem.
Food for thought is ,, Apparently it is medically proven that people who have high levels of Vitamin D are the ones who don't get coronavirus so bad!
I take it ! But it's hard to buy now as the cat is out of the bag.
Maybe it's also possible that we are lacking vitamin D due to being in the house in lockdown too?
Either way it won't hurt to take a bit of vitamin D.
2020 has not been a good year for us all ,that's for sure.
Pete
