My house at Hill Top is now shown as inside the fire zone. I will need to find out what is happening.

" Do you think these fires could have been started by agents of a country that is a known heavy polluter,"
As Stella Rimington, head of MI5 was told when she went to Moscow after the fall of the Soviet Union to arrange cooperation to counter terrorism, there may be friendly countries but there are no friendly intelligence agencies.
Cooperation was not forthcoming.

Global warming or not - the blackfella and his firestick is the best & only way to prevent these events from ever happening.
Totally agree with some of Marcc's previous comments.

The only part of the conspiracy I see is that what we have now is all man made and has nothing to do with global warming mass hysteria: Quoting the Chief Scientist. As I am rural on the family farm which we have had since 1872 this sort of thing has happened before but never to the same extent.
In 1978 they cancelled all of the grazing in the Warby Ranges here & one of my uncles farms in it, was acquired & this started this looney management phase. Since then it was expanded to the "Warby Ovens National Park": Its now full of weeds, Deer, Pigs and they have bulldozed several dams so there is no water, forcing the native Fauna out of the Park. Add to this disease and burning which has killed over a third of the Park's plants & trees. Feral pigs in the face of the Swine fever on our doorstep: Fools & Urban terrorists in our Bureaucracy.
The Warby's will be like most forests that they are killing and the biggest threat is fuel loading. The more fuel the hotter the fire and the more it will kill as it also destroys the micro biological culture & that which sustains it. The hot fire turns everything to ash and that causes erosion and causes around 70% of the forest's sustaining moisture to be lost to evaporation: Actually increasing the probability of a lightning fire igniting substantially.
The mulch on the forest floor actually holds moisture and provided it is kept at the level it was pre-European interference, all fires will be cold and create, not destroy.
What we need to do is stop the BS expose the loonies & fallacies and start acting to help those wiped out by this lunacy, admit that the Aboriginal fire management was always the way fire should be managed here and start cleaning up what's left of the forests, before they to are incinerated by the current lunacy.

My house is still safe, it seems the RFS made a slight mistake on the map. I decided to go there and bring back some things. I'll get the rest tomorrow.
Yes, I agree, the greens and their ilk are the most dangerous, loony thing to ever happen in this country. Instead of glueing themselves to roads and disrupting people trying to go about their business, why aren't they out there helping put out the fires, or at least lending a hand? It's because they are totally useless and deserve to be run over by irate motorists.

Greens aka watermelons -- green on the outside and red on the inside.

God help us, Greta is on the warpath about the fires & spreading more mass hysteria and blaming Scomo & global warming: If she would shut-up for a bit and listened & studied our climate she might learn how wrong she is.
Learning does not occur whilst ones mouth is open prattling on & taking photo opportunities.

The scrub in photo #4 looks DRY.
Where is the 'Blue Gum forest', in a valley up that way? Wanted to visit that, would have a lot of 'energy'? (that native peoples are more sensitive to.)

Greta is copping some stick on The Australian newspaper website at the moment. A post made by me is leading the way with more than 200 'likes'. I don't usually worry about that aspect but on these rare occasions I do enjoy the feedback.
Sometimes I go all the way and refer to her as Greta Thunderbird because she looked like one of the Thunderbirds when she was going off her nut at the UN climate conference.

Today's Australian had a witty and apt cartoon about her. Unfortunately, I don't have online access to copy it here.

There are ways of copying things: Many of those old DOS commands still work.

I can't find it on their website though I doubt I'd be able to post it here without them tapping me on the shoulder over a copyright infringement.
