I whole heartedly agree that my W101 is a far superior set but it's the Jetsons space age styling of the Predicta which appeals to me.
I wouldn't bother with any other imported vintage set and I'm always on the lookout for another resto candidate locally but they are not easily found at a reasonable price (ebay has seen to that).
Space is a problem also.
My W101 has pride of place in my loungeroom next to our 55Inch OLED with 60 years separating them.
I don't think I'll be allowed to put another restored telly in there any time soon though.

Wouldn't mind one of those plastic Bakelite type crosley that stand on 4 splad legs and the legs are about ,3 and half to 4 foot long , They Run a w1o1 chassis and come in many colours . My friend Dan has a brown one and a pink one .
His ,2 are the only ones I've ever seen and he got them on Gumtree ..
I've tried to talk him into selling me one , but no chance!!
Hahaha pete
