It was a magazine rather than a hardcover book

I don't think EA ever produced a hardcover book. Over the years I bought a few of their special publications and all were softcover, albeit their softcovers were more substantial in the 1960s than later.

Received my DVD today. Photos in the articles are indeed very clear.

I asked about the "missing" years (1988 to early 1997). Response was it would be a lot of work to scan them in but if the demand is there it may happen.

Try converting them to MOBI format and view them on a Kindle (if you have one).

I read all my books on a Kindle and I find it just as good as a book on my eyes and so much more convenient (I travel a lot).

I have conversion software called "Calibre" which is quite easy to use.

My Kindle is one of the 1st generation ones but I am told the new "Paper White" ones are even better. (Xmas present?).
