Yes, their the warmest people on earth. Not like westerners.
Mind you, eating fish Eye ball soup is enough to make you run to the airport. It would have to be the world's creepiest meal with all those Eye balls floating around in it.my wife is very western and she doesn't cook, she is not that type. I do all the cooking at home thank Gosh!

Pete

Very nice stufff, GTC.
Couldn’t even find a photo or year of the Spectrum Analyser. A monster at 60 kilos. Must be full of transformers and valves.
ME + old stuff. seem to get on better than ME + new stuff.

I simply hate these new iPads etc that have the “action” buttons hidden ..... and one must swipe with two fingers, or 4 fingers, or from left to right, or from right to left, or with my tongue hanging out my mouth on the left-side ...... or no forward delete button .... my list of gripes with App producers is extensive. They force the User to remember where the “action” buttons are.

Couldn't even find a photo or year of the Spectrum Analyser.

That's because of my typo, now fixed. It's a TR4172 circa 1980 and full of chips, transistors and heavy iron. Its instruction and service manual set is similarly heavy comprising 3 three-inch A4 binders.

Here's an image:

As you see, it's in two big parts. I need to build a trolley for it.

I simply hate these new iPads etc

Same here. My mobile is a simple one. I don't want or need all of the junk on "smart" phones, nor do I need the pathetic battery life between charges.

Yeah .... very nice.

I have a Tektronix 7L13 Spectrum Analyser in a Tektronix 7603 scope. All tranisistors and chips; minor stability issues. I am guilty of playing with it more than using it .... Smile.
Also have a couple of other Tek 7603 scopes and on the loookout for 7000 series plug-ins .... Smile
