Yes Radioresto, I agree and as for Bunnings, I generally prefer Mitre 10, smaller family owned stores, easier to find stuff and although Bunnings is huge and has nearly everything, I find them overall expensive, or it may be that one ends up leaving with more than one came for.. But Mitre 10 stores to me seem friendlier and more helpful as well as cheaper!

Your Bunnings experience depends very much on who you find.

Last Sunday I thought I'd try to get a router bit for my new little CNC mill that would work with ABS, rather than wait for the part to arrive in the mail.

Being this is my first hands-on experience with CNC, imagine my surprise at finding someone at Bunnings (Belrose store) on a Sunday who not only knew what I was talking about but actually makes and uses CNC machines as a hobby! Same software and all!

So after a $40 tool purchase and a natter my problem is fixed. I guess you've got to get lucky sometimes.

That's true, as mentioned above. At the closest store to me the regular staff would have trouble spelling CNC.
