Today while in Coles I was informed by the check out lady that as from tomorrow only one family member is allowed in the shop to shop.
So I said to her,,what about my daughter who is only 4 ,no you can't bring her she said!
Well what do I do with her I'm her on my own own and my wife is not in the country.?
You will have to leave her out side the shops!

My daughter is at the age where that can not be done safely.
Honestly these people that bring in these laws have no understanding of how some of us live , particular parents that are on their own .

Yes the supermarkets are taking whatever rubbish is sent out from head office without any understanding of the realities. My wife has limited mobility so I do the usual grocery shopping on my own while she waits outside. However there is now a ban on just sitting in a shopping centre so she has to stay at home. There are limits on the amount of certain items that can be purchased but these do not make sense. Coles will allow me to buy unlimited quantities of milk in plastic bottles but only two cartons of UHT milk. Fresh milk cannot be safely transported and stored for a week as UHT milk in cartons can but two carton is not enough for two people for a week. I was told that this is sufficient for one person and it stops me hoarding milk for myself! So that means two or more trips to the supermarket each week rather than the usual one. When I had selected what I wanted from the limited stock available (Kimberly-Clarke have confirmed that Melbourne and Sydney have priority for all supplies of toilet paper!) and made my way to the checkout I was told that they would not take cash in payment. My notes and coins had to be disinfected but I was expected to use eftpos and touch a keypad that was known to carry all sorts of bacteria and pathogens. I asked for the manager and gave him a brief lesson on the law as regards legal tender in the Commonwealth of Australia. He replied that it was a new law issued by the PM (aka Scotty from Marketing) but when I suggested that this 'new law' was a load of bovine excrement he admitted that it was actually just policy from Coles HQ. I suggested somewhat strongly, that Australian Federal law trumps any Coles policies and grudgingly he accepted my cash. I will accept the new 'pack your own bags' rule even though it really is not effective as a contagion prevention measure just to keep the check-out operators happy.

Well, After spending ages on the phone to Coles and Woolworths,I'm informed by the manager that the lady in Coles who served me and told me I can't bring my child in to the shop is completely wrong and parents on their own with young children will be allowed to enter.

If they won't take my cash I will just walk out the door with my goods.


Also, funny how they won't pack the bags, but they are happy to pick up and scan the goods which I had picked off the shelf.

We also have all of the stupidity from Coles & Woolworths. As I am taking the car to the vehicle of the day; What the hell is the point of packing them: Just put it straight back in the trolley & sort it at the car.

Then there is the stupidity of the isles: Their two way: But hello! No one can legally pass a person going the other way. The isle is not wide enough.

Its dumb a...s like this in high places, that are like a mob of sheep in front of an open gate, & can't see the hole in the fence, who cause the problems.

In the UK, mobile phone masts have in recent days been burned and vandalised and telco company staff have been abused. An arson attack at a tower in Birmingham owned by BT, Britain's biggest telco, caused significant damage. It provided 2G, 3G and 4G services to thousands of people, but did not have 5G capability, BT said.

On Saturday, UK officials called the growing 5G conspiracy disgusting fake news and "complete nonsense". "That is just nonsense, dangerous nonsense as well," British Cabinet Officer Minister Michael Gove said.

NHS England's national medical director, Stephen Powis, said the theory was "utter rubbish" and "the worst kind of fake news". "I'm absolutely outraged, absolutely disgusted that people would be taking action against the very infrastructure that we need to respond to this health emergency, " he said.

The theory that 5G mobile telecommunications masts play a role in spreading the novel coronavirus also seems to be gaining traction in Australia. The second top-trending Google search question this weekend was: "Is 5G safe?".

Well, I think the filthy wet market trade in China is where it came from ,no hygiene,no ethics.
Wild animals being slaughted on the spot and sold. These animals are not farm animals and many are rare creatures.
No ethics or care for the environment over there.

I watched this doco on sky news about how the Chinese covered the virus up, including the deaths and the actual date they knew it was happening
It then went on to show how and what effects it's had on other countries.
It's terrible
The USA is predicting 200k deaths in the states . Spain ,Italy have had thousands die.
Most days 700, 1000 deaths per day !
The lack of equipment in all those countries I have metioned now have to pick which person gets the lung breathing machines .
I think it's very important we take lessons from what's happening there and not get complacent about it or we may have thousands dead too.
