5y3 Rectifier 6v6gt output and CBD7 input valve and 2 other valves 6wg8
I think that should be 6GW8.
I am not aware of any tube CBD7. Should that be 6BD7?

That valve lineup doesn't make sense. Either a 6BD7 + 6V6GT, or 6GW8 - but not both. Unless it's one of those over-engineered things.

I think we are talking about a Classic TG (serial number 4430)
There is a discussion about this model here:
https://vintage-radio.com.au/default.asp?f=1&th=574#3246
I can help with a schematic of which will be sent to Brad to upload here
Thanks Monochrome TV yes its that model ,can you please supply a Schematic diagram for it as the Valves that are in it seem to have been mismatched .
all soi am trying to work out why when the 6v6GT is shorting out the 6.3v Ac heater filiament line on all the Valves are linked
when I put it on the Valve tester it say the filament heater pin 2 & 7 are ok but the valve does not heat up or test good on the valve tester
No shorts or lekage detected
It must be a bad 6v6 but I dont have another new or good working one here to verify.

Schematics sent.
None show a 6V6GT. 6AQ5 is electrically equivalent.

Post 1 has been modified to the lineup in the schematic, no more 6V6GT.
The 6AD8 can be safely replaced with a 6N8 for a bit more IF gain.

It has 5 x valve tubes - 6AN7, 6AD8, 6BD7, 6AQ5 & 5Y3GT
Now that line-up matches the 1952 TG model.

All corrected. My upload script is playing games at the moment so I reverted to a tried and sometimes not-true backup - I did it all manually.

Wayne: since this is not an HMV model, please edit your original post's title and replace HMV with Classic.

Looking at the corrected photo, the 6V6GT is back again.
So, the lineup would seem to be 6AN7, 6AD8 (or 6N8), 6BD7, 6V6GT, 5Y3GT. Definitely no 6AQ5.
