Hello vintage radio folk,
I'm looking to gain more general knowledge on older roughly pre- 1970 equipment. I did Radio & TV trade courses from 1988 onward but mostly worked in audio then other industries. Probably the last time I aligned and AM tuner was in the radio course!
Started up repairing HiFi about 5 years back so get asked to repair older gear now and then, which is why I found this website. (and the service data, thank you!)

Also have a Phillips gram that belonged to family I intend to repair eventually. One day. Hopefully.
Cheers for now. Mark.

Welcome Mark,
Though I have no formal training in electronics or radio repair, I am quick learner and have been collecting radios from the 1930s to 1950s era over the last 10 years.

This site has been very helpful, though I had trouble getting back on the site for a while, so have been missing since 2021, people here are great and there is no such thing as a dumb question.

I also dabble in 1970 HiFi gear especially Turntables, Real to Real, Cassette Decks lot of fun and a great era for sound reproduction.
