Hi all,

I'm working on a series of telemovies in Melbourne set in 1964, so we're looking for an Astor or similar television from that time. A small unit on legs like the Astor BTR would be perfect, but I'm keen for all suggestions. Doesn't need to work of course. Thanks in advance!

I have never before seen one of those antennas vertically polarised.
Once upon a time, those antennas were very popular. The longer version used in Melbourne was called the Spiromatic O

That TV looks exactly like the PYE that our family had when I was a kid - complete with the black stand.

As for the antenna, I have a horizontal one here, doing duty for my digital set-top box. Works fine !
