I have a collection of radios to repair for my friend. Some of them work and others have parts missing.
I have found circuit diagrams for 2 of them only, does anyone have service manuals for any of these?
Philips Model 148 (B)
His Masters Voice Tropicana
His Masters Voice Super 5
BGE Tempus Clock Radio
Stromberg Carlson D50 (D39 ac model)
STC Model 141
The BGE Tempus looks good in bright red, it has a smiths clock in it with some large electrical contacts to turn the radio on at the set time.
The Stromberg Carlson looks like the D39 ac model but it is in a wooden cabinet with the battery underneath the radio.
The STC is a minature radio, the bakelite is in reasonable condition and both knobs are present but age has taken it's toll.
The HMV Super 5 is missing 2 of the knobs.
Is it possible to buy AORSM on a disc? I have searched this before but could not find anything.
I will send in photos when I get some decent ones of them.
Does anyone have service manuals for any of these series of models?
Thanks all.

Kevin Chant has the Philips 148, 148 B, C & D + mods:

Also for STC 141:

The BGE Tempus is probably a rebadged STC, as they often were in the days after Tasma. Possibly based on a STC 5150 or 5160-5160/1. Valve line up required.
Model numbers are required for the HMV's. I think I know what they are and Kevin will probably have data sheets for those as well.
The Stromberg Carlson D50 is in volume 3 of the AORSM, and myself or someone else here can provide a copy.

I somehow thought that some British General Electrics were actually built by AWA?

My records & photo's show that I repaired a green 141 in May 2012. Do watch it the choke is in the negative & its back biased.
I would advise fitting a grounded cable as it shows a shielded transformer & they bleed a charge voltage onto the chassis.
I have a circuit if you cannot get one. Knobs are the same colour as the cabinet on this one.

Australian General Electric (AGE/Hotpoint) sets were rebadged AWA's until at least when AEI took over. I'm not sure if the AEI Gondolas used AWA chassis.
British General Electric (BGE/Genalex) radios were originally made by Tasma. Later on in the mid 1950's until the early 1960's STC made (BGE) radios. The BGE Tempus Clock Radio definitely used an STC chassis - probably one of the models I mentioned in my previous post:

Thanks everyone for your replies, and thanks Monochrome, I did visit Kevin Chants website but did not find what I was looking for, maybe I was in the wrong section. I have it sorted now.
The BGE Tempus is the one on the right of the ad, this one is cardinal red.
The HMV had Model 65-54 printed on the back of the chassis and I have found it on Kevin's website.
When the weather improves I will take some photo's and post them here
