Last time that this was done they dug out a tumour, wonderful at age16, and one part of the op is the same spot.

Thanks everyone for your help. I'll check the classifieds in Radio Waves and the silicon chip power supply. To test the radio after restoration I will buy a couple of bulk packs of 9 volt batteries from Jaycar and build a battery pack. I wish you a speedy recovery Marc. Kind Regards, Sam
