Giday chaps, I have a Airmaster radio dated from around 1940. it has a aluminium chassis, which has no "ARTS&P" on it or any other markings nothing is on it at all, but with subtle differences it looks identical to a Genelex or the Kriesler's of the same era, even goes close to the Tasma baby, in its size does anyone have any info on these radios, please, photos links have been sent to admin for publishing, thank you in advance, regards ron.

On rare occasions the ARTS&P decal was either on the side of the chassis or stuck to one of the coil cans. It ay be worth a second look if these areas haven't been checked. There was at least one other variation of this cabinet which sold under the Genelex brand but I cannot at this stage find a picture of it. One was sold by Ebay member Rollerboy toward the end of last year.
If I find a photo I will update this post.

Very nice looking set. Love the imagery on the top!
Let us know the valve line-up and we can probably suggest likely chassis version(s).

Thank you so far, but I'm still wondering how they came to use the same cases as the Genelex/Krieslers, was it just a case of badge engineering?

Most likely. There were rare instances where two manufacturers used the same cabinet and fitted them with vastly different guts. One case in point is AWA's 500 series Radiolette, the cabinet later used by Astor to build a set for NZ. The Radiolette looked much better and I doubt I am alone with that opinion. Astor's handspan tuning dial was just not right for that cabinet and would be like fitting plastic bumpers to an FX Holden.
