Yeh! I have a 1961 circuit 115VAC SE transformer with half wave valve rectifier. Rather typical of Kriesler to have a myriad of changes. The diode is more efficient and will handle bigger caps. That change in itself could cause several others.

Ok I have just had a look . The numbers on the transformer are 51873. 7. J10. And in large printed ink on the transformer winding insulation 2. 73. Cannot see any other writing does this mean it is an 1973 year model ? Regards Jim

In most cases (including mine) as shown in the list above, the stamp format is clearly a date.

Re post #1, I wonder if they pushed on to serial no 50,000. That would be an interesting one to find.
