G'day everyone,

I'm curious who here has experience with packet radio?
I've used it before on an old Amstrad PPC512 "portable", and now plan on making a modem/TNC for a Commodore 64 I'm hoping to get soon.
To me it feels like the most bare bones close relative to sending a text on a phone today. just over 1200 baud instead of complex encrypted protocols in the microwave band.

As an aside: APRS is quite popular with some hams.
