It's Simplex. Don't everyone speak at the same time!

Yes, the thread was blank. Title and new content added by me so it could be accessed again.

I'm not sure how to respond to the initial post, other than "??".

I'm still trying to work out why its blank. If it's been deleted intentionally by the OP, it's not the best thing to do as it will just confuse people. I can't delete the thread because I've never bothered to give myself that capability - never really needed it.

I noticed earlier that the thread was completely missing a title... I thought it was just a mixture of fatigue and a balmy computer!

If it's been deleted intentionally by the OP,
Suggest the code should disallow a blank title, both from the outset or as the result of an edit.

Perhaps a rethink. I am a Moderator on a US site. I can get rid of blanks & double posts, spammers: Plus a few other housekeeping things there. It will disallow blank pages ... they will not post.

I've never bothered to give myself that capability - never really needed it.
As an administrator on other sites, my experience is that and administrator needs all the powers of a benign dictator.
It would also be useful if members could delete their own posts - I made one here yesterday that I soon realised was redundant, but could not delete.

Unfortunately there's no chance of any new features being added to this site before Christmas, despite my wishes to the contrary. Time is at a premium at the moment and has been for a long time.
Earlier in the year I even had a new site underway and was making some progress with the core of it and other things have got in the road since.
I hope there's some opportunities for this sort of thing in 2014.
