I think Darryl Kerrigan says it best: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jL2DH-nKBeA

Is green an original colour for this radio?

Or has someone recently painted it?

This series came in five colours - black (the most common), brown, marbled white, white (NZ only) and jade. There is a recognised one-off mottled green one owned by a Sydney collector stamped by AWA but never fitted with a chassis at the factory. A chassis was fitted by a collector and is now a working radio.

See the book Radio Days for a photo.

When I see some one pay a fortune for an air guitar. The more I say that PT Barnum was a genius in realising that there was one born every day and praised the Lord for giving him the skills to exploit them.

It's down to $10,500 now - it's got a bigger discount than Prince Harry's dirt file, errrr, I mean memoir.
