No parades because of covid19, but some restaurants had outdoor patio areas. Had some food and drinks.

We all had masks, but being outside, we didn't rigorously wear them. I guess in two weeks we will see if we got away with this.... Smile

Not much to celebrate this year, so many have the virus in the states. Hope you managed to dodge it!
Reading the news today we may all be meeting up in the south China sea! Ya best wear green for that meeting ,prime target in the China sea wearing that.

Pete

I see that social distancing isn't being enforced.

Social distancing....

I had a coronavirus test the other day and then got on the bus to come home (I didn't feel up to driving) and someone got on the bus just after me and tried to sit next to me. Given that the bus was already close to its limit (23 I think) I just repeated the NSW Government's transport slogan - no dot, no spot.

For those not familiar with the yarn, all modes of public transport in NSW currently have a big green sticker placed on seats where sitting is permitted. Those who don't have their bum on top of one of these should not be on the bus, train, tram, ferry or metro train.

I must have had the longest face on the bus after having the test so I am left wondering why anyone would have even wanted to sit next to me in the first place.

On a brighter note, I hope the 4th July celebrations went well. We dodged the coronavirus with Australia Day which is on the 26th January though other days of national importance were effectively scrapped, such as Anzac Day, 25th April.

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...

Well, it's said that being outside and in the Sun cuts the virus risk. Another week I should know.,...
