Loaded Calibre onto the computer (Windows 7) expecting to download ebooks for my wife's device.
Selected all sites from the column on the left side put in author pressed search it found a suitable ebook on the google books site it did not load back into Calibre as I expected it to. It ended up in Google playbooks. After much messing about I managed to get it in Adobe digital editions which again was not a lot of help. However at least it can be read on the tablet. Feeling very frustrated at the moment. When I calm down in a day or two I will try again.
It would be very easy to put this in the too hard basket. However I am not a quitter.
Kind Regards Jim

Yes , It can be a pain in the arse to put it lightly . I'm constantly Reading and as mentioned once before ebooks are not for me. I like the old fashion covers with that wonderful smell. If I do read on a Device I have found Mac screens much better for my eyes. But if its a software issue you need to learn youtube is full of tutorials regarding ebooks and sometimes it's a good way of learning about software.
