I saw that on The Australian website this morning.
He is a nutter who clearly should be in gaol for the carnage caused yesterday and previous deeds. Let's hope that on this occasion, his day in court leads to him being locked up. He should never be allowed in the driver's seat of a car again.
The other oddity is that he lives in Victoria but his car is a Q-reg. Is the car stolen or is he stacking up camera fines on an expired rego?

I gather that he owns that car. Not unusual to see QLD rego on cars whose owners are resident in NSW, too. I gather QLD rego is cheaper and all you need is a QLD address of convenience (friend or relative). It's a rort.
Interstate truck operators also tend to register their vehicles in the cheapest state.

The sad thing about people who pose when they are driving fast cars is that when a car is new and expensive, everyone actually expects it to perform when the pedal is stomped on. So aside from satisfying his only way of arousing himself, he had no need to do what he did. It must annoy people like that when they are intercepted by a $50,000 Holden station wagon, which was the car of choice for the Victorian Highway Patrol whilst they were still being made, and another similar inexpensive car.
I hope you are right about his future, Pete. Our courts don't always get it right unfortunately.
GTC: Regarding the rego, that's a no-no these days, though I guess it will be the least of his worries. All trucks that where an MR or higher licence is required to drive now have to be registered under a national scheme, which replaced the older FIRS scheme. Cars and light trucks have to be registered where they are most commonly garaged.

I was always amused by the comment that those guys who drove a Porsche, had short comings with a certain bit of anatomy and were full of ... Fascinating that from girl talk there was one Porsche owner around here, that fitted that description, on both counts.
It appears that this Porsche owner has a fairly decent rap sheet and where he was living locked up like a prison. Hopefully a taste of things to come. The community will benefit from him not being in it.

Yes, that's the law, but there are those who flout it. I used to park behind one almost every morning at the train station, year after year, and I know of another who uses his parents' address in QLD for registration. These rorters risk a local cop eventually putting 2 and 2 together when he notices the vehicle over a long period on out of state plates.

After just seeing footage of this bloke abusing a cancer sufferer, not a truer word has been spoken of him.

I use to always ride Motorcycles on the Road and I gave them up only a couple of years ago due to vibration issues I'm having with my health and my daughter was born about the same time , So I thought it was time to hang up my boots,But I rode on the Road since I was 16 and I rode bikes since I was 5 . One day I'm ridding down the Road on a Honda 750 4 and 2 cop cars just cut me off the road, so I pulled over as you would and 2 Cops had their Guns out ! ,, Turns out some guy on a black bike had shot a cop about an hour before I was pulled over , Anyway all was ok though and the cops said go home dont ride today ! ... With Queensland rego all you need is a Queensland address. I know years ago all you needed to do to renew rego was to just pay up . No inspections.

It's all relative, Pete. Costs are lower in other states but so are average wages. Pre-coronavirus, NSW unemployment was 3.8% and in Sydney it was 3.4% so opportunities are also greater.
It will take a long time for the world to bounce back from lockdowns but Sydney and more generally, NSW will lead Australia out of the doledrums.

Brad, Lets hope so because so many people are now jobless or not making any money. Its going to be a scary Roller-coaster ride. My life may not change much because I don't work full time and I just buy and sell a bit and work causal a bit . BTW odd things are selling since the lockdown , Small cheap Items to enjoy at Home ... Records ,movies and computer Games are selling !
Pete
