Irext ,
I'm looking for a 90s model CRT about 68cm .
If you spot one I'm more than happy to buy it!
I can't find one anywhere.
No flat screens though, can't stand them .
Like the old 90s model curve screen CRT .
Pete

Hi Pete. The only CRT I have is a regunned 26 inch CRT from a HMV C211 which I acquired many years ago (complete with yoke).
I just can't bring myself to chuck it out.
Maybe one day I'll come across a HMV Ambassador or Consulate to restore with a weak CRT.

I wonder if that would work in my AWA C209 lol !!!

I had some experience with a Thomas regun CRT back in the day. A 30AX tube, 63cm self-converging. It flashed over regularly for about 6 months. Otherwise OK!

They obviously weren't able to perform the in-gun automatic convergence that was done in the tube factory so they supplied a ring magnet assembly like were used on Toshiba tubes.

At one stage I had a stack of brand new 63cm Toshiba self-converging CRTs and yokes that were originally going into Pye T30C sets.

I’m also on the hunt for a 70-80’s colour TV
No particular size and I’d obviously pay but who knows when I’d be able to pick one up
People on eBay just expect far too much for an old TV

The Thomas regunned tubes quite often put on a fireworks display when 1st powered up.
They were usually o/k after that.
We installed a lot of them back in the 70's.
Both colour and B&W.
