Well, lets see if any limitation of sale of dunny rolls on Ebay works,
The number of re-sellers under the "toilet roll" search has been steady around 8000 for two weeks.
"Top" sellers have ratings around 94 to 96% and just sell rubbish.
They have stock ready to sell! You can buy hundreds of rolls whatever you like.
Just Black Marketeers.
I would expect the number of dunny roll sellers to either drop by 60% or drop their prices.
If Ebay is serious.
Will believe it when I see it.
The local Woolies still has little or no stock, used to be a whole wall of rolls.
Fred.

Number of sellers on eBay of dunny rolls has increased!
Now 9353 on "toilet roll" search.
Prices vary average about $6 per roll.
If eBay is fair dinkum by tomorrow the number should be 1000 and price $1 per roll.
I see China is rewriting history pushing the propoganda line that it was actually Americans who started the virus in Wuhan.
That is the virus that actually does not exist any more as the hero doctors of the revolution have defeated it, if it actually existed at all!
In reality they ignored it and detained and gaoled doctors who were plainly stating they have a problem last December.
By January poor citizens were dropping like flies and the glorious leader was still gaoling doctors and denying.
Then they allowed thousands of people from the Wuhan area to fly to Australia and other countries for the Chinese new year.
Thus spreading the epedemic around the world. Good move!
As for that goose of a Labour senator pushing the party line, he should get the next boat back to China and luxuriate in the glorious Republic where individual freedom is so sacred, as long as you belong to the ruling class.
Sorry Brad.
Not vintage radio but I hate history being rewritten by despots and greedy black marketeers!.

He should be on the list for deportation either because he is a weasel or just plain stupid.

My private health fund emails me thus:
"We will be postponing the scheduled 1 April premium increase for 6 months until at least 1 October, 2020."
... and then on 1 April 2021 I'll get the double whammy for sure.

Coronapocalypse is crashing fortunes of big chain Shopping-Mall owners.
Seems Australian founder of WESTFIELD had cleverly sold his empire to the French in time.
Just like when RCA television was cleverly sold off to the French in the '80s and then crushed by Japanese & Korean competition.

Coronapocalypse is crashing fortunes of big chain Shopping-Mall owners.
The big owners such as AMP Capital, Scentre (was Westfield) and Lend Lease will be looked after by the various emergency support measures being announced by the Federal government, but in terms of recovery loans / credit extensions the banks are already saying that, after things normalise again, they will not be able to breathe life back into the so-called "zombie" businesses which were already in trouble before the pandemic. Those will fall by the wayside.

Oh God, get me a bucket! That bloke cannot be serious.
Just to clarify on Westfield, back before Sir Frank Lowy had the big fire sale, Westfield was split in two. Scentre Group was created to own all the Australian holdings and this is still controlled by Sir Frank's family. All overseas holdings was sold to Unibail.
The bottom line with shopping malls is that they aren't long for the world. People want the High Street back, even though it is more difficult to find a parking space and there's no air conditioning outside each shop. Then there are online sales, which are also muscling in on bricks and mortar retail.
When Top Ryde Shopping Centre was redeveloped about ten years ago, the owner went broke doing it. He was clever about it rhough. He also owned Harbourside - the shopping centre at Darling Harbour. It wasn't taken off him to retire debts.

It seems implied that Lowy retained his Australian properties under the large French takeover. But none of the Lowy family (he or his sons) is listed in management. -- scentregroup.com -- For a "$50bn group" it’s a bit of a shoddy website that doesn’t work very well.
Wiki on Scentre is only really claiming that the properties are under their "management" (not ownership?)
So I'm confused as to who actually owns the Aussie Westfields.

Ok, eBay was serious.
Amazing.
Using the same search the sellers of dunny rolls has dropped from 9353 to 1768.
The pricing is hovering around $1 per roll.
No more "corona free" rolls for $50!
Now, the next step should be to BAN any seller with a rating less than +99%.
That would get the non suppliers and senders of rubbish out of the system and leave it to the decent suppliers.
Fred.
Now on Saturday 04 april the number selling rolls using the same search criteria is......685!
ebay and govt threats have worked.
The Woolies circular today 040420 mentions the number of rolls sold and they still cannot keep up.
Where the hell are people putting the things? Maybe eating them!
Fred.

Well what a coincidence!
Now that the chinese profit making traders selling dunny rolls etc are blocked off eBay:
Our glorious leader of the revolution has instructed his locust lackeys to round up what is left of the medical supplies in the "republic" and sell them back to Australia. Yes! the stuff they stripped off the shelves and warehouses over Xmas in Oz intended for our citizens!
Double the profit!
How come they have tons and tons left over?
Answer: only the ruling class saw the stuff, once they were fixed and safe the left overs are for plofit.
The peasants are still dieing like flies, oh sorry, not one more case in the whole of china according to the chinese news, my mistake.
Anyway peasants dont count in statistics
Their glorious leader is now manning a "humanitarium" effort to help other nations like Australia and we should be so grateful!
Morrison needs to grow a great big set of balls and tell wuhan willie and the other locusts to take a hike, get out of our country, and start the hard road to self sufficiency.
Fred.

Given Sir Frank's age, (89) and his location, (Jerusalem, Israel - as far as I know) he's most likely a silent partner these days. Scentre is a public company so there's thousands of mum and dad shareholders too.

I get a bit conspiratorial here:
It could be that the Australian Westfield Malls are effectively in foreign hands: this Scentre group perhaps a ‘shell-company' to make Australians think it’s Australian?
Insofar as the big French new owner of all malls outside Aust. could own most shares in Scentre - or control straw entities accumulating a majority of shares?
The Scentre “Board of Directors” on website is not convincing for me.

Just check the share registry. It'll confirm one way or another.
