Maarc, was there really a roadhouse restaurant in Wang run by a bloke named Craig in the 70's, or did Captain Matchbox just

The guys were asked about that & it seems that it related to the Shell Roadhouse near the Ovens River in Wangaratta: Its still there but not as a restaurant. Just fuel & the usual few drinks etc now.

Many thanks, after 40 odd years of wondering the question is finally answered.

There is also another Wangaratta in Qld on the Bruce Hwy Not a town & one in Colourado; also not a Town.

Then there is Wallerawang, just west of Lithgow in NSW, better known locally as Wang.

That's the bloke. I believe his missus and he were into plastic palm trees and waterfalls.
