My husband swears that the year of his radiola model console style is 1924.....? If some one could verify the history of AWA The Fisk Radiola Console Radio it would be most appreciated I have seen one image of our exact radiola online but can not seem to find any other info on it. It is in bad condition but has all it's original knobs intact.

Sorry for the lateness of my reply. I don't believe AWA started referring to their sets as "Fisk Radiolas" untill the early thirties. If it is a mains set, it is definitely not 1924.

Cheers,

Stu

StaceyJane,

If you have a picture of it, feel free to e-mail it to Brad.mail.vintage-radio.com.au and I will publish it in your post. This will definitely help with identification of the receiver. Wink

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...

Picture as requested would be nice, especially the back , so that we can see if it has, or has any trace of an "ARTS&P" label.

Valve line up would also be handy.

I have a "Phonograph" one on the bench at the moment, its supposed to be a 301 from around 1935. I will swear its a prototype?

It ain't following the plot of the circuit I have.
