Well I turned up at this meeting today and boy did I get some bargains. I got a NZ Bell mantel radio in pristine condition for $75.00 and a beautiful Philips ( wooden set ) for 50 dollars and a set of late 20s early 30s valves ( 15) for $20.

I cant say it enough Guys these meetings are worth going to.

Thanks Brad . I am really starting to get enamored with these beautiful little bakelite sets. The Bell in particular is a very strong performer.

I just came into procurring a little Peter Pan with a extra hole drilled in it and am determined to fix the damage done I will send photos so you can give advice.

Advice is a professional Bakelite repair from someone who has done the job many times before, especially when the patch is on a prominent area such as a front panel.
