Yes, Irext that's right.

I was one of his students in the mid 1970's, and then again in the early 1980's when I returned to do some post graduation courses.
It would be interesting to know how many of his former students are members of this forum.

Rod is still active in in the electronics trade/hobby, and is quoted in the latest edition of the H.R.S.A. on line.

I'm fairly sure he was the lecturer on a course I did back in the 70's.
It was Colour TV receivers 1T and 2T in building 9 at RMIT.
I also did my Certificate of Technology Electronics at RMIT which I completed in 1983.
For 4 years RMIT was my second home!

Thanks again to everyone for the great comments and information regarding my Thorn colour television. Playing with our vintage radios and TVs is a pretty good distraction in this period of global pandemic. Stay safe.
