Hi Ian.

I'm sorry about the length of time it took me to answer your question.

The thyristors were all sourced years ago from sets with dead picture tubes. Mostly from Blaupunkts. They were very popular in the area I worked. Some came from HMV's, not so popular, and does any one remember the M8 chassis Nationals, or the Sharp C1831X ? That set was a Frankenstein's monster.

I have used up most of the Horizontal thyristors, but have a number of Retrace thyristors left, as can be seen in the photo I'm sending. The horizontal thyristors failed more often than the retrace thyristor.

Live long and prosper.

Wayne.

Just letting you know I have not received the photos yet. Are you sending to the correct address?

Just click on my username. It can be accessed there. I don't want to publish it on the forums as it will get spammed.
