As yet another cost-cutting measure to try to keep themselves in business, newspapers have outsourced proof reading to a company that obviously doesn't do it very well, to put it mildly.

Magazines have editors and they are supposed to check the thing from cover to cover before it's "put to bed" as they say. I can't say that I see too many typos in SC, so kudos to Leo Simpson and staff in that regard, but the production manager really ought to have caught this on behalf of a key advertiser of theirs.
