Yeah. I didn't watch more than about 20 seconds of that video because the bloke in it pretty much fessed up to being exactly what he is rather than being a problem solver. He's just taking the piss out of the Government instead of saying how he'd sort things out.
I've always been one to think that if someone doesn't have a solution, they forfeit their right to complain. In the past I've complained, called politicians names and lampooned them but in the same breath I've followed up with "what should have happened is this...". This then gives other people an opportonity to debate the topic in greather depth rather than just listen to a brat slag people off.

Guess I'll be the brat then.... it's up to the government, and those paid within, to produce the solutions. Even if I was to use my unpaid time to come up with the obvious answer, will anyone listen? Of course not.
Now, in NSW we're about 55% done (add percentage with 1 shot to those with 2 shots, divide answer by 2). When we reach 70-80%, we are told that many if not most limitations will go away. This will cause the majority of anti-vaxxers to get sick and perhaps die. Am I being heartless? They are bringing it upon themselves after all. Victoria is somewhat behind with vaccinations, but it seems they've decided to do the same as us (NSW). so when they reach the target and open up, I assume then that NSW & VIC will be able to open the common border and get on with life.
However, the other states are intent on eradicating covid entirely. This means they will be isolated bubbles forever, like as if they were some other planets. What will happen then? Sorry, I don't have an answer.

Yes I probably should've stated that he's a very strong labor supporter. I mean I do have to give him credit, he did manage to get your deputy premier to sue him after exposing some pretty interesting allegations with evidence. Even got a fixated persons unit involved which is now been shown to be a misuse of power on johns behalf.
Ah well, life goes on.

Telstra has raised the eyebrows of anti-vaxers by adding a phrase to their mobile network name.

Some have threatened to close their accounts but it'll be a costly shift for those who have just signed up for one of the familiar two year deals. If all the carriers did this, account closure would then be pointless. It's something I think TPG and Optus should consider doing.

Why we are not out of the woods yet, and may not be for quite some time yet:
QUOTE: Many reopening plans around the world, including the concept of vaccine passports, are based on the assumption that vaccinated people are 100 per cent safe to others, which is a misunderstanding of the science, according to Professor Nikolai Petrovsky of Flinders University. In fact, as breakthrough infections are more likely to be asymptomatic and so avoid detection, Petrovsky worries about a false sense of security developing as vaccinations increase in high-risk settings such as aged care.
....
“And, while this is not as popular, I think we should get used to wearing masks when we can’t socially distance, say, when we’re getting back on planes, or maybe a longer bus ride. People do need to understand that we’re not going to have a true ‘freedom day’ where we can throw our masks in the bin and stop getting tested. Not for the foreseeable future.”
....
... the dose of virus they are hit with – just like for an infection in an unvaccinated person – might be particularly high, overwhelming their immune defences. That could explain why a small number of vaccinated healthcare workers wearing protective gear have been infected. They’ve been exposed to lots of virus for a longer time.

As I have said in the past, there is a mistaken belief amongst some that vaccines block disease. They don't and never have. They are simply a way of educating our immune systems to help stop our bodies succumbing to a disease.
For most people, if they shake the hand of a virus carrier and then touch their mouth or eat food with their hand without washing it, if they have been vaccinated they should not be affected. Their immune system should destroy the disease and the person remain healthy. If that person was to then shake the hand of an unvaccinated person and they then eat without washing their hands, the virus is still passed to that person.
There are some people who have issues which prevent some or all vaccines working for them. But the evidence available suggests that vaccines are still our best and only defence. Other diseases such as tetanus, whooping cough and measles are still out there, waiting to pounce. Most don't need to worry about it because we have either had the disease already or have been immunised against them.

In the same way Trump realised that the "Great Wall" kept Mexicans out of China; China has likely been taking lessons from America on how to meddle in every one else's politics'. Horatio Lord Nelson was centuries ahead in realising the danger of waking the Dragon.

I have been vaccinated and I use alcohol-based hand sanitiser so often that my skin is breaking open, as if have tiny paper cuts. I sanitise my hands after every personal transaction. It's now a reflex action. I have to apply Sorbolene skin lotion before bed to compensate for the hiding I've given my skin during the day.

Same problem GTC. At home I have gone back to soap and water, and keep the alcohol based sanitisers for away from home for convenience.

Got my 2nd jab today, so in about 2 weeks I'll be fully immunised. I'm glad that's all over.
Now I just need to wait for the barber shop to open so I can get a haircut. My last one was in May.
Since I don't have a smartphone I have a printout that I need to carry with me to prove that I've taken my vaccines.
Did you see that idiot rent-a-crowd of anti-vaxxers in America saying "We love Australia"?

The thing is, rent-a-crowds are getting all too commonplace thanks to all this #MeToo and Twitter BS. Melbourne's lockdown is no more relevant to America than the BLM protests were here. The Far-Left just needs one of these issues to try and quell their relevance deprivation disorder.
When I read an article about the New York protest in The Australian this morning, one commenter pointed out that most Americans can't even pronounce Melbourne correctly and they should learn this before worrying about Chairman Dan and his world-record lockdown.
I also don't buy much into the idea that everyone's mental health has been on the line because of lockdowns. I agree that lockdowns suck but by and large, when well placed, they have helped quell the spread of the virus. The blanket state-wide lockdowns in Victoria and the border closures in Queensland and Western Australia have been excessive but at the end of the day, there has to be a line drawn in the sand somewhere. I once suffered badly with anxiety and despression so I feel qualified to say that it comes down to how one manages their time during a lockdown rather than the lockdown itself that will be whether one suffers as a result of it.
Now that a majority of people are immunised against the coronavirus, I would agree that a lockdown after 80% double dose should not occur and nor should a border closure.

Certain gloves will cause dermatitis if used constantly & ICI OH&S was right onto that. Constant washing of hands will kill the natural defences on the hands & infections around the edges of the nail are then quite common.
Now pointed out in other places....
Many will have claimed that if they walked onto Church property, or into the Church, it would fall down. Well call it Devine retribution, prophesy, or whatever. I got a Covid shot in a Church hall. So God sent a 5.9 Magnitude Earthquake and that was the only Church to suffer structural damage from that shake up. . Message there somewhere.
I did have the gall to suggest that the Mason's that built it were a different type of Mason than those who built the bigger different denomination Church, where only a bell rang from the taller belfry swaying.
