In Vic a lockdown of the whole state as the metropolitan pox is now in Shepparton.

More than high time we sacked the current academics & pollies running the Kath & Kim show & replaced them with Farmers, Vets, Horticulturists and Vintners as we deal hands on with hands on practical biosecurity, pretty much daily.

Mystery infections equal FAIL in my book. I do have certificate four in training & assessing.

Marc

I love the rumour mill. Gossip has it that part of Shepparton effort was the members of the privileged from the pox infested republic going to a funeral in Shep where they should not have been.

There was a bit of that here too. 200-odd people from far and wide gathered to honour a dearly departed individual in Wilcannia, NSW last week. End result - a one horse town 200km east of Broken Hill is smashed with the 'rona and most similar towns in the far west will cop it too.

Wilcannia hasn't seen that many people since the race riots there about 15 years ago.

Its now got worse here and it looks like the narcissistic, psychopaths are actually trying to spread it. There is a case that came from Mansfield Vic.

Instead of sending this one to the already pox infested republic; They sent to the Wangaratta Hospital, which is a major hospital in the area which is now locked down.

Mansfield is starting to get uncomfortably close to me, last major outbreak the closest cases were at Kinglake.
If it gets out of control there then it won't take much to get it here. however, I've begun to notice more undercover cop cars and highway patrol around here. They moved the highway patrol unit to Alex from Mansfield just over a year ago and it looked like they were in full swing yesterday.

Hi Marc!
Dont worry we will make sure you dont miss out!
Covid is like the circus, "coming to a to a town near you" real soon!
Mate, you should try living in Sydney in the Blacktown area.

The joint is full of psyco's and MORONS (low IQ).
Example 1, in the paper shop Sunday, in walks your tough OLD AUSSIE, thongs, tee shirt, shorts (its 5degC outside!).
Coughs, wipes nose,(no mask) and grabs a paper, straight to counter with money, coughs and hands over money.
Shop owner and only other customer (me) reel back (we have mask and gloves on) both trying to get as far as possible from the germ cloud.
Shop lady pushed money to end of counter so she can deep clean it later!

Example 2, Meanwhile, in the "Jesus Embassy Church" (one of the happy clappy sort) in Blacktown.
Patrons arrive in the dead of the night from hot spot suburbs all round and converge on "church" about 80 of them.
(Hey lets have a singing clappy super spreader event, halleeyula)
All pray to Jesus to end lock out and "Pastor" tells adoring flock not to get vaccined as Jesus is all you need to save you all.
The Rozzers arrive and fine the lot of them for being out of LGA (or being dead stupid).

Just two examples of what we get in the big city and what the government and we have to put up with.
At least the TV news service finally showed another MORON actually with covid and half dead, wishing he had had the jab and this is what happens when you get it. His wife will probably die and its HIS FAULT.
The TV people should forget the heads that just talk and talk and hang the camera in the wards set up for covid and the ICU at Westmead and watch souls young and old fighting it or dying. Why not show suffering? At least then some of the morons might get the hint. (Nah they will just think its another doctor/hospital ER/Scrubs type show!)

The only reason we dont have thousands die-ing and 10,000's infected is becasue we have lockdowns and masking and vaccinating and MORONS dont seem to understand that. Like that stupid woman on American TV ridiculing our lock outs because we only had so few infected or dead! She was a MORON typical. This in a country that accepts 10,000s of people die-ing as normal, probably because its a lot less than the number they SHOOT each week!

End of rant, Fred.

There is a story here on Ivermectin:

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-04-04/monash-researchers-hopes-for-coronavirus-drug-treatment-warning/12121578

Seems it works in a petri dish but has not been approved for use in the human body (dosage, clinical trials etc), but trials are underway.

It has been used for forty years on humans for treating worms and other infections. But there is no big dollars in it for the drug companies.l will add a link later.

AIDS has been essentially defeated by the use of therapeutic agents - it is still around but can be treated so sufferers can lead a normal life. It was a game changer for AIDS, so if one can be found for Covid would certainly bring life back to normal.

Being in the general discussion forum, there is no issue with a discussion on this subject, providing no actual recommendation to take a particular substance that is not TGA approved appears. Allowing such comments to remain would be a breach of the law.

As for dealing with the virus, 150,000 people received a coronavirus vaccine today in NSW which is good news. I hope this trend continues because it will ultimately lead to an end of broad lockdowns, if the promises are to be believed.

That's what worries me. They keep changing their tune every day, and it's getting hard to believe them, or even to follow what they say.

People are getting more and more restless, and soon there will be an explosion of anger.

You watch.

A couple of months ago I would have come closer to agreeing but I don't think it will happen, not in NSW at least. There's mixed feelings but that is probably what will stop a major civil unrest. People are doing the right thing and getting vaccinated. The problem at the moment is that there isn't a shortage of vaccines but there is a slight shortage of who can provide them, though this is changing.

Across NSW there are more than 2,000 places to get jabbed. None provide an opportunity for the recipient to nominate their preferred choice though at the end of the day a vaccine is a vaccine and there are known risks with taking any sort of medication. It is a matter of just knowing that it is much safer, going by the numbers, to vaccinate than not vaccinate. Since Sydney's second wave started, there have only been two deaths immediately following a vaccine intake - one with Astra and one with Pfizer. The QLD CMO is taking a dangerous path by continuing to slander the Astra vaccine.

It is in the MO of senior public servants to drag the anchor though, so her behaviour is not that surprising.
